‘Ukulele Express’ 2015

We had a fantastic time over in Pickering, North Yorkshire. First off we performed at the Memorial Hall on the Saturday evening along with Liam Capper-Starr and The Prairies.  We had a wonderful, enthusiastic audience and this night got the weekend of to a great start!  Up early on the Sunday to catch  this fantastic steam train that travels across the picturesque moorland landscape, taking about an hour and a half to reach the lively and lovely seaside town of Whitby. Over 300 uke players took over the entire steam train, and much fun was had with a ‘Big Strum & Singalong’, led by the madcap duo, Feckless & Fuddle. Then, it was back to Pickering, and the Memorial Hall once again to do it all over again, once again another brilliant crowd who was up for much fun, singing along!!

Big thanks to Matt & Andy from Omega music and Ukulele Events, for hosting this marvellous bash, and for inviting us to be a park of it! CHEERS!

Many thanks to Keith & Dave Hitchen for the photos.
